Why teams move their licences to us

Same Google Workspace. Considerably less friction.

Buying direct gets you a licence and a help centre article. Buying through Mailbox Bay gets you the licence, the migration, the DNS work, the admin policies and a named human who knows your setup.

Better value than buying direct

Reseller agreements, consolidated billing and right-sized licence counts. We audit what you actually use before you commit to anything.

  • Licence audit before renewal
  • One consolidated invoice

Migration by people who've done it

Mail, calendars, contacts, shared drives and distribution groups moved across from Microsoft 365, legacy IMAP or another Google tenant — without a mail outage.

  • Full history, folders preserved
  • Weekend and off-hours cutovers

Deliverability configured properly

SPF, DKIM and DMARC published, aligned and monitored. We fix the records that quietly send your invoices and outreach to spam.

  • DMARC reporting reviewed monthly
  • Sub-domain sending strategy

24/7 support from real engineers

No ticket lottery. A named account manager, a shared channel and an on-call desk that answers at 3am when a mail flow rule breaks.

  • Named account manager
  • Escalation path into Google

Not sure which edition fits? Send us your headcount and a short note about how you work — we'll recommend an edition and flag anything you don't need. Mixed-edition tenants are completely normal, and we'll set that up for you.

Why buy through a reseller

The licence is the easy part. Everything around it is the work.

Six things that come standard with a Mailbox Bay tenancy — the things most teams discover they need about a week after they've bought direct.

01

Migration from Microsoft 365 or existing Gmail

We map every mailbox, alias, distribution list and shared calendar before we move a single message. Exchange Online, hosted Exchange, IMAP, Zoho, Rackspace or another Google tenant — history and folder structure arrive intact, and mail keeps flowing during the cutover.

02

Admin console set up the right way

Organisational units that mirror how your company actually works, sensible sharing defaults, group-based access, mobile device policies and offboarding routines that don't leave orphaned data behind. Handed over documented, not as a mystery.

03

Deliverability that survives contact with reality

SPF flattened and within lookup limits, DKIM signing on every sending source, DMARC moved from monitoring to enforcement at a pace your team can absorb. We watch the aggregate reports and tell you before a vendor starts spoofing your domain.

04

Gemini AI in Workspace, switched on deliberately

Help me write in Gmail and Docs, meeting notes in Meet, and Gemini in the side panel — enabled for the groups that benefit, with data-handling boundaries explained to your leadership team before anyone types a prompt.

05

Local billing and clean invoicing

One invoice in your currency, with your registration details on it, aligned to your finance calendar. Add or remove seats mid-term and it reconciles properly — no untangling a card statement at the end of the quarter.

06

A dedicated account manager who knows your tenant

One person who remembers your DNS provider, your quirky legacy alias and the vendor that keeps sending from an unauthenticated relay. Backed by a 24/7 desk and a direct escalation path into Google support when something needs it.

How it works

Three steps from first email to fully settled.

Most teams go from initial call to a live, fully migrated tenant inside a week. Larger organisations get a phased plan with a named migration lead.

Scoping call and quote

A 30-minute call to understand headcount, current mail platform, storage habits, compliance requirements and any sending tools bolted onto your domain. You get a written recommendation and a tailored quote — no obligation attached.

Typically day one

Provision, configure, migrate

We stand up your tenant, verify the domain, build organisational units and groups, publish SPF, DKIM and DMARC, then run the migration in staged batches. A pilot group goes first so nothing surprises the wider company.

Usually 2–5 days

Cutover, handover and ongoing care

MX records switch at a quiet hour, we monitor mail flow live, and your team gets a short onboarding session plus a written runbook. Then your account manager stays on for licence changes, audits and whatever the year throws at you.

Cutover night, then ongoing

Security & deliverability

Your domain's reputation is an asset. We treat it like one.

Email security isn't a checkbox at the end of a migration — it's the thing that decides whether your invoices get paid and your proposals get read. Every Mailbox Bay tenancy ships with authentication done properly and reviewed on a schedule.

  • Authentication baseline established before your first send
  • Quarterly posture review with a written summary for leadership
  • Incident runbook so nobody has to improvise at 2am

SPF, DKIM & DMARC

Records published, aligned across every sending source, and moved to enforcement without breaking legitimate mail.

2-step verification everywhere

Enforced across the organisation with security keys for admins and a recovery process that won't lock out your team.

Data loss prevention

Rules that catch card numbers, tax identifiers and confidential documents before they leave the building.

Admin controls & audit

Least-privilege admin roles, device policies, alert centre routing and audit logs you can actually hand to a reviewer.

What clients say

Quiet email is the highest compliment.

"We moved 140 mailboxes off Microsoft 365 over a Saturday and nobody in the company noticed on Monday, which is exactly what I wanted. The migration lead sent hourly updates the whole way through. I've done four of these migrations and this was the first calm one."
Rina Achebe Head of IT, Northquay Logistics
"Our proposals kept landing in spam and we'd more or less accepted it as normal. Mailbox Bay rebuilt our SPF record, got DKIM signing on all four of our sending tools and had us at DMARC enforcement in six weeks. Reply rates went up and nobody had to change how they work."
Daniel Moreau Commercial Director, Fernway Labs
"What sold me was the offboarding runbook. When someone leaves we now have a documented ten-minute process instead of three people guessing. Add in one invoice instead of a card statement and my finance lead is happier than I am."
Suhani Kaul Operations Lead, Tidewell Group

Questions we get on the first call

Request a quote and we'll share pricing tailored to your team size. What you pay depends on the edition, your headcount, your commitment term and whether you need migration or ongoing managed support bundled in. We put the whole thing in writing before you commit to anything.

No. We run migrations with dual delivery in place, so mail continues arriving at your existing platform while historic messages copy across in the background. The MX cutover is a single scheduled change, usually at a quiet hour, and we monitor mail flow live on both sides until it's confirmed stable.

Yes. Mail, folder structure, calendars, contacts and shared mailboxes all come across from Exchange Online, hosted Exchange, IMAP providers or another Google tenant. Distribution lists become Google Groups, resource calendars are rebuilt, and shared drives get permissions mapped to your new organisational units. We document anything that can't be moved one-for-one before we start, not after.

Both, and you should start with us. As an authorized reseller we're your first line of support, which means you get someone who already knows your tenant, your DNS and your quirks. When an issue genuinely needs Google, we raise and manage the escalation on your behalf rather than handing you a link.

Gemini features are available across the Business and Enterprise editions, with the depth of capability varying by edition. Your Workspace content stays inside your tenant's protections and isn't used to train models for other customers. We'll walk your leadership team through exactly how it's governed and enable it for the groups that will get value from it.

Yes. Seats can be added at any point and adjusted at renewal, and mixed-edition tenants are completely normal — your engineers can sit on a different edition to your field team. Your account manager reviews utilisation with you ahead of each renewal so you're not carrying licences nobody uses.
